Web and Grid Services One way to make the ACES facilities available to researchers may be through web and grid service technologies. Web services provide a standard way to describe the interfaces of arbitrarily complex software systems. They offer the potential to provide a novel way present advanced numerical simulation tools and associated hardware resources through user-oriented web access. Grid services complement these technologies by providing a concise language for expressing the end to end workflow of a simulation process that can again be accessed through web based technologies. |
